02 dynamic

Dynamic classes are structured around a sequence of yoga postures practiced to the pace of one breath, one movement. Students can expect to work on body strength and flexibility as they coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. In addition, alignment education and adjustments may be minimal.

03 hot yoga

Performed in a room heated between 32 and 40°, hot yoga practices maximise the body’s ability to stretch and strengthen while stimulating vital organs to work with better efficiency. Yoga Room’s hot yoga offer includes the traditional 26 poses sequence as well as hot flow, hot detox and hot stretch.

04 healing

Healing or therapeutic yoga is a family of slower yoga practices that incorporate gentle, restorative postures, breathing techniques and meditation. Our Healing classes span Yin Yoga to reading of the Yoga Sutras and Meditation to Myofascial Release. However vast, these are united by a single, inward focus: the cultivation of a more meditative state of being.

05 specialized

Specialized classes is a wide umbrella of classes that build around a particular yoga pose or cater to a certain physical condition. In these classes, you’ll learn specific skills and train targeted areas of the body.

Level 1

Open to all levels and particularly suited to beginners and anyone new to yoga. Level 1 classes deliver the foundations of yoga and principles of physical alignment in asana. They give new students the keys to a safe practice and seasoned yogis a fresh perspective on asana basics.

Level 2

Open to yogis with a regular yoga practice. Level 2 classes require body awareness and a level of physical strength and conditioning. Level 2 classes are not recommended for total beginners.

Level 3

Open to experienced yogis looking for a challenging class to deepen their practice. Level 3 classes approach inversions, deep backbends, arm balances and hip openers and therefore require a degree of strength and flexibility.

Meet Francise

Francise est professeur de hatha / ashtanga / vinyasa et méditation.
Il pratique le yoga depuis l’âge de 9 ans car en Inde, le yoga est une façon de vivre. Il a ensuite intégré la section yoga de l’université de Chidambram, en Inde du sud (Tamil Nadu).
Il a obtenu son diplôme en 2016. En parallèle, il a effectué une formation de massage ayurvédique : cela complète ses compétences dans le domaine du bien être.
Le yoga a une place importante dans la vie de Francise et c’est pour cela qu’il a décidé de l’enseigner aux autres. Pour lui, cette pratique permet de mieux comprendre son corps. Apprendre à bien respirer permet de gérer son stress.
Tous les niveaux sont les bienvenus dans ses cours !! Il est pédagogue , rigoureux et sympathique.

Meet Tanja

Being a dancer performing in different countries around the globe, Tanja grew into the role of yoga teacher when arriving in Paris 17 years ago. She started practicing yoga at Hélène Fournier’s studio, where she did her YTT. In 2020 Tanja practiced and studied Hatha Yoga intensively during a 5 month long lockdown in Bali, Indonesia. Books and writings of B.K.S Iyengar, that found her in Bali by purposeful coincidence, became her source of inspiration. She practices and studies meditation and holistic approach, as to her, the mind and body act as one. This is also something you would find back in her classes, where she strives for mind-body connection and encourages students to go outside of their comfort zone.

Meet Dana

Sportive et danseuse de haut niveau, Dana a été meneuse de revue de l’un des 3 grands cabaret parisiens pendant 10 ans. Elle a commencé le yoga en 2009, triple championne de France de posture de yoga et une 3ème place au Championnat d’Europe en 2019.
Actuellement professeure de Yoga Bikram diplômée par Bikram Choudhury en 2013, Face Yoga diplômée en 2017 par Fumiko Takasu, Yin Yoga diplômée en 2019 par Yoga Alliance, Yoga pour enfants diplômée en 2020 et Juge international pour Yoga Sport diplômée en 2021.
Son expérience de danseuse et de sportive font de Dana un professeure minutieux et attentif, très axé sur la santé et la forme.

Meet Chié

Chié vient du Japon.
Elle a commencé le yoga pour de bon en 2015. Puisque Yoga Room Paris (Espace Bikram) était proche de chez elle, elle a commencé à s’y rendre souvent, et ainsi, la pratique du yoga est devenue une partie de sa vie.
Au début, je pratiquais le yoga presque tous les jours.
En 2017, elle a suivi une formation d’enseignants de Hot Yoga de 200 heures parrainée par Hélène FOURNIER et Frédéric Choukroun.
Sa spécialité est le Hot Yoga.
Ce cours propose une séquence dans laquelle les mêmes poses sont enseignées dans le même ordre. Mais Chié fait en sorte que vous puissiez remarquer à chaque fois des subtilités différentes.

Meet Pascale

Passionnée de mouvements et d’images, elle découvre le yoga il y a 14 ans, au détour d’un documentaire qu’elle tourne en Inde. Il la séduit immédiatement tant pour son engagement physique que mental. Il devient son langage pour de nouvelles explorations.
Passée par le Hatha et le Bikram, Pascale se forme au Vinyasa dont elle apprécie la fluidité auprès de Patrick Frapeau, fondateur de Mysore Practise in Paris et dont elle encore l’élève. La pratique devient un besoin pour être bien, être mieux, être avec.
Sensible aux mots et aux corps, elle enrobe ses cours d’un flow d’indications et de coups d’oeil sur les moindres détails. “Bien-veillance, Bien-vaillance” sont au coeur de sa pratique pour une exploration au-delà du rectangle de son tapis.

Meet Joanna

Joanna a commencé le yoga lorsqu’elle était avocate d’affaires afin de calmer son stress. Il semblerait que ça ait bien fonctionné ! Après une formation pour devenir professeure de yoga Vinyasa à Bali (200h), elle a décidé de se consacrer pleinement à sa passion. Elle a ensuite complété la formation avec un Mentorship à la Yoga Room (100h) et une formation en Yoga Thérapie à Bali (300h). Lors des cours de Flow, vous aurez l’occasion de dérouler les asanas sur le rythme de la musique electro. Elle considère que la musique est un excellent moyen de lâcher-prise. Lors du yoga thérapie, les sessions sont thématiques (stress, anxiété, digestion, dos).
